What we collect
Your email address (for sign-in and notifications), the photos you upload, the reels and captions generated from them, your branding assets (logo, colors), and basic usage records (when reels were created, subscription status). Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
How we use it
Solely to run Designer Reel: rendering your reels, generating captions, sending you sign-in links and “your reel is ready” emails, and managing your subscription. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use your photos to train AI models.
AI processing
To write captions, a downscaled copy of your photo(s) and your room description are sent to Anthropic’s Claude API, which doesn’t train on this data. Video rendering is deterministic image processing on our own infrastructure — no generative AI touches your video frames.
Who processes data for us
Like every modern web product, we use a small set of infrastructure providers: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), Stripe (payments), Modal and Trigger.dev (video rendering), Anthropic (caption AI), and Resend (email). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
Retention & deletion
Your photos and reels stay stored so your library keeps working. Delete a reel and its files are removed. Close your account (email us) and we delete your stored photos, reels, and profile within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax/accounting.
Cookies
We use only the session cookie that keeps you signed in. No ad trackers.
Your rights
Email us anytime to access, export, correct, or delete your data: michael@agentsurge.ai. If you’re in a jurisdiction with specific privacy rights (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), we honor them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we’ll notify you by email before the change takes effect.
